Another good post. Bipolar does not discriminate for sure. We don’t choose to have this and it is a very real mental illness that causes physical discomfort as well.
The physical discomfort can be unbearable at times as well. It’s too bad we even have to remind others that we did not choose this, just like nobody chooses to have any other kind of illness.
I can not believe how this disorder has taken over my entire life.
Bipolar can most definitely feel that way at times for me as well. I always remember though how the illness seems to have its own ebb and flow. Some moments ate much better/worse than others. I am so sorry you are feeling that way right now. Much love to you, you’re not alone!

I’m sorry. Tears in my eyes for you. So everyday and especially when things get hopeless, I fall back on a belief that even an “agnostic Christian” like me can’t doubt – every day is a gift. And then I recall the beauty of Creation or Mother Nature, however you like. And I look for that beauty wherever I may be – smelling the roses so to speak – and it’s so easy to find. It’s everywhere. It requires no performance from me; no working effectively with others; simply openness to that reality of beautiful creation. That’s worth living for, even if nothing else seems like it’s going to get better.
